Please note. To be entered into the prize draw for a free membership for 2026 all entries need to be in before the 5th December. The draw will be done like last year before Christmas day. You gotta be in it to win it.

As of 28th July 2025 bdaa now have the lease of fishing rights on the witham in boston. It starts from the sluice gates at the marina all the way to langrick bridge. Anyone wanting to fish this will now need either a membership or day ticket. Signs will be erected shortly. Balliffs and the Environment Agency will be out doing patrols.

Could all parents / guardians of our junior members please advise who will be attending the “Let’s Get Fishing” event at Westwood Lakes (Osprey) on the 9th of August. This is not a competition, just a fun day of fishing and showing “newbies” how to enjoy the sport.
Also, should any member like to invite a family member or friend to the event please advise.

Any BDAA juniors wishing to attend may do so with parental support on the day.

DONNINGTON AC will be holding several matches for junior anglers in conjuction with BDAA this year.

We are putting these dates out below for any bdaa junior member aged 10 to 16 to participate in.
These are matches and will be prizes for winners upto 3rd place. If your son daughter or grand child wish to take part and have a bit of fun and maybe make new friends get in touch with Paul.
They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on all dates.

This year, we are asking for a 50% peg contribution per junior entrant. Donington Angling Club will pay the other 50%.

The bdaa agm will be held on the 20th may at the sportman bar. Any members wishing to attend must bring there membership with them to gain entry.
