Please note. To be entered into the prize draw for a free membership for 2026 all entries need to be in before the 5th December. The draw will be done like last year before Christmas day. You gotta be in it to win it.

Also new memberships should be with us by then for all those purchasing for Christmas presents. Don’t forget juniors will be going upto £10 and the age will be 12 to 18. Many thanks.

As of 28th July 2025 bdaa now have the lease of fishing rights on the witham in boston. It starts from the sluice gates at the marina all the way to langrick bridge. Anyone wanting to fish this will now need either a membership or day ticket. Signs will be erected shortly. Balliffs and the Environment Agency will be out doing patrols.

Could all parents / guardians of our junior members please advise who will be attending the “Let’s Get Fishing” event at Westwood Lakes (Osprey) on the 9th of August. This is not a competition, just a fun day of fishing and showing “newbies” how to enjoy the sport.
Also, should any member like to invite a family member or friend to the event please advise.

Any BDAA juniors wishing to attend may do so with parental support on the day.
